    The American crow can be found year-round throughout all of mainland Florida in woods, farms, roadsides, and cities. Favorite habitats include woods along rivers and streams.

    Some people consider the American crow to be the most intelligent bird. They have a reputation for destroying the eggs and nestlings of other birds, but they help out other animals by alerting them when danger is approaching.
