One thing that all animal projects require is TIME! It is important to know that you will have special time set aside to care for your animal. This activity will allow you to look at your current schedule to see if there is really time for you to properly care for your rabbit.

ACTIVITY

Step 1:

Begin by printing off this week long calendar. Organize all your activities for a normal week. List all the things that you have to get done each day and at what time. Include activities like: school, chores, practices (sports, music, dance), as well as any other activities that you participate in on a weekly basis.

Step 2:

Now, part of your rabbit project will ask you to complete certain tasks. Some are daily, some are weekly, and some occur every month. Go back to your weekly calendar and plan out times for the daily and weekly rabbit tasks that you must do. Use the key at the top of the calendar to see what tasks you must plan to do and how often you will need to do them.

If you can't find a good time to spend with your rabbit every day, then it may be time to reconsider whether you should complete a more advanced rabbit project.
