Introduction
Once you have a rabbit that you are ready to process for consumption there are several steps that must be taken to harvest the rabbit meat. Always recall that if you are not comfortable taking the steps necessary to harvest the meat, but still would like to consume this meat, there may be a slaughter facility or even a local butcher who may dress and package the rabbit for you. For those who are a bit more adventurous and would like to try to slaughter, dress and joint their own rabbit this activity will prepare you.
