    A LAND REMEMBERED

    WHERE CATTLE, CONSERVATION AND BEEF COME TOGETHER

    A Land Remembered is a standards-based curriculum that brings Florida’s history to life through the story of cattle, conservation, and land stewardship. (Register for Curriculum HERE)

    Designed for 4th and 5th grade classrooms, it connects reading, science, math, and social studies Florida state standards through engaging, hands-on lessons and real-world learning experiences.

    The program includes weekly engaging videos, vocabulary and activity pages, and hands-on, standards-aligned lessons. Students build knowledge throughout the program, culminating in a final live virtual ranch event that brings their learning to life.

      CAN HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES REGISTER?

      Yes, you can use the same registration link for homeschool.

      IS THE PROGRAM ONLY FOR 4TH/5TH GREADE STUDENTS? DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ENTIRE PROGRAM?

      No, you participate in as little or as much of the program as you’d like, just understand the curriculum standards are generated for 4th and 5th grade respectively.

      HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM AND WHAT DOES IT COST?

      The curriculum is approximately six weeks long but can be adapted to fit your schedule. There is no cost for the curriculum but we do request classroom demographics.

      HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE EACH WEEK?

      The program is flexible, but most teachers spend 30-60 minutes per lesson.

      4th grade students explore early Florida history through the story of pioneer life, cattle ranching, and survival. Through cross-curricular lessons, they learn how people adapted to the land while building foundational skills in reading, writing, science, and math.

    • Student Edition | Volume 2

      5th grade students examine Florida’s growth and development, focusing on agriculture, land use, and conservation. Lessons connect history, ecosystems, and human impact, helping students understand how the past shapes Florida’s future.

    • Pilot Cow Camp

      Family Cow Camp is an immersive, hands-on experience where families step into Florida’s ranching heritage. Through outdoor activities, teamwork, and real-world ranch experiences, participants learn about cattle, conservation, and the importance of stewardship while building lasting memories together.
