Camp Scholarships
Florida 4-H strives to provide scholarship funds for youth to attend a week of summer camp at Florida 4-H Camp Cherry Lake, Cloverleaf, and Timpoochee. Our scholarship funds are provided by various sources, including the Florida 4-H Foundation, grant funded opportunities, and private and corporate donors.
There is one scholarship application link for all scholarship opportunities, which are all listed in detail below. Each child’s application responses will automatically sort out which scholarship(s) they qualify for. All scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, after the child meets the required qualifications. Scholarships may be awarded as soon as December 1st and will continue to be awarded as funds allow. There is no application deadline, but the funds are awarded on first-come, first-serve basis.

SCOPE Camper Scholarships
SCOPE is a nonprofit that believes every child should have access to summer camp experiences. SCOPE raises money for summer camp scholarships, allocates those funds to ACA-accredited, nonprofit camps, and ultimately provides summer camp experiences for youth to accomplish various life skills and goals. Florida 4-H Camps have applied to receive scholarships for youth to attend overnight camp at both 4-H Camp Cloverleaf and 4-H Camp Timpoochee this summer. We will receive award notification by May 19th, but in the interim, we are accepting scholarship applications for youth that qualify for these funds. SCOPE scholarship requirements are very specific, so please read the list of requirements before applying, as all requirements must be fulfilled to be awarded a scholarship. All youth are welcome to apply, if they meet the below qualifications.

CAMPS III Scholarship Grant
Florida 4-H Camps received a National 4-H Council grant to provide scholarships to campers. These grant-funded scholarships will only be awarded to first-time overnight campers in these specific youth populations: youth residing in foster care, immigrant youth, Seminole Tribe youth, and military youth impacted by deployment, PTSD, or wounded or fallen veterans. If your child(ren) falls into one of these youth populations and hasn’t attended overnight camp before at Camp Cloverleaf or Timpoochee, they would qualify for a full overnight camp scholarship to be used any week of camp at either camp. Additionally, for youth ages 14-16 years old, there will be Junior Counselor scholarships for Summer 2024. If a youth is interested in serving as a Junior Counselor and is included in the above youth populations, they may submit an application as well for Summer 2024.
