AmeriCorps Environmental Educator
Florida 4-H AmeriCorps members serve Florida 4-H by teaching environmental education classes and activities to the public. AmeriCorps members help to book, organize, deliver, and evaluate environmental educational programs that occur both in and outside traditional classrooms. Camp Timpoochee provides one place where AmeriCorps members educate others about the local ecosystem that Camp Timpoochee is a part of. If you have an interest in teaching others in about the environment in an informal, hands-on setting, we hope you apply to serve Florida 4-H in this way.

Summer Camp Cabin Leaders
Summer Camp Cabin Leaders are the vital foundation to our summer camp program. They are a positive role model, create lasting memories for all campers, provide safe cabin supervision, and have fun engaging in camper activities. Cabin Leaders are the primary group of camp staff that provide day and overnight supervision for campers aged 6-16 years. They will be a leader of joy, fun, and adventure while manifesting a loving and inclusive environment in their cabins. They also would be assisting with campfires, crafts, STEM activities, waterfront activities, shooting sports, and many other traditional camp programs.

Summer Camp Health Director
The Camp Health Director is the lead medical professional on the camp staff, responsible for managing the health center and handling any and all medical related situations that arise. The Camp Health Director is responsible for distribution of approved prescription and over-the-counter medications/first aid to our campers. Campers or staff members with serious ailments/injuries are transported to the local urgent care facility or hospital by camp staff. The Camp Health Director will be provided housing on-site and will be expected to be on-call 24 hours a day, Monday morning through Friday afternoon.
