    Volunteer Learning Opportunities

    Ongoing education is essential for creating meaningful and positive experiences for young people in 4-H. By utilizing research-backed resources and offering new learning opportunities, Florida 4-H ensures that every volunteer is well-informed and prepared to support the diverse roles of Florida’s youth.

    • Florida 4-H Volunteer Forum

      The Florida 4-H Volunteer Forum is your chance to dive into a world of learning, networking, and personal development through curriculum fair, guest speakers, workshops with volunteers and experts in the field of positive youth development. 

      Check back for more information for summer 2026.

    • 4-H Volunteer Conference of Southern States

      Held every fall at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia, this national training is led by 4-H volunteers, county agents, and state staff from across the United States. The training focuses on providing practical, hands-on experiences that participants can bring back to their programs.

      All current 4-H volunteers are welcome to attend. Please check with your local 4-H Professional if you are interested in attending. 

    • Additional Trainings

      Additional trainings such as QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention, Youth Mental Health First Aid, CPR/First Aid are available upon request.

      Please ask your 4-H Professional for more information.
