FLORIDA 4-H STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE FOR YOUTH
The Florida 4-H Standards of Excellence for Youth provides an opportunity for 4-H youth at each age level (Cloverbud, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior) to recognized for their 4-H participation and achievements. This recognition is based on how closely each member's performance matches the standard, not the performances of other youth.
4-H member participation and achievements can be documented on the Florida 4-H Standard of Excellence application and submitted to the county 4-H office. Counties may recognize youth with certificates, ribbons or another type of award. Teaching young people skills needed to meet or achieve standards has a lifelong benefit. 4-H has excelled in recognizing 4-H'ers who have achieved standards of excellence.
