    Timpoochee Overnight Summer Camp

Looking for a week away where you can be yourself, make lasting friendships, explore coastal Florida, and have so much fun you’ll be wishing you stayed all summer? 4-H Camp Timpoochee creates all those experiences and so much more!

A week at Camp Timpoochee begins with arrival on Monday morning and ends with departure Friday morning. Each week, campers will engage in various activities and programs tailored to specific weekly themes. Some activities that occur every week, no matter the theme, include swimming, crafts, campfires, outdoor learning, and recreational games. Nutritious and delicious meals are provided from Monday lunch through Friday breakfast, and lodging is provided in air-conditioned cabins with bunk beds.

Each camper will be a part of a cabin group that is always supervised by at least two camp staff. Campers’ safety is of utmost importance for all our camp staff, which is why we take so much care in training our camp staff and in managing our facilities and activities appropriately. In the case of illness or injury, parents will be notified and may be required to pick up their child from camp early.

Registration is open to any youth aged 8-16 years, as of September 1stof the previous fall. For more information about specific weeks at camp and on how to register, please see below. For any questions regarding overnight summer camp programs or to schedule a tour, please email us at timpoochee4h@ifas.ufl.edu or give us a call at (850) 897-2224. Please note we will not be able to offer tours during our staff training or summer season.
