4-H Environmental Education
UF IFAS Florida 4-H has three camp facilities spread throughout the state: 4-H Camp Cherry Lake (Madison), 4-H Camp Cloverleaf (Lake Placid), and 4-H Camp Timpoochee (Niceville). All offer 2-5 days overnight and single day field trips at camp, while also offering outreach programs in their local areas.

4-H Camp Timpoochee
Marine science is highlighted at 4-H Camp Timpoochee, located directly on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. Students are fully immersed into the marine world with hands-on classes centered around local ecosystems.

4-H Camp Cloverleaf
South Florida ecosystems are highlighted at 4-H Camp Cloverleaf, located directly on Lake Placid. Reptiles, lake ecology, water quality, kayaking, and so many more hands-on classes are offered at this camp.

4-H Camp Cherry Lake
Nestled directly on Cherry Lake, students can engage in hands-on classes at 4-H Camp Cherry Lake. Lake ecology, team building, and agriculture classes are among the current offerings for field trips at camp.

Funding Opportunity
The American Red Cross has provided funds that will fully support overnight and day field trips to 4-H Camp Cherry Lake, Cloverleaf, and Timpoochee.
Funds support counties impacted by Hurricanes Helene and/or Milton, with priority given to counties individual and public assistance eligible. To see eligibility, check out these FEMA Maps.
