    4-H Environmental Education

UF IFAS Florida 4-H has three camp facilities spread throughout the state: 4-H Camp Cherry Lake (Madison), 4-H Camp Cloverleaf (Lake Placid), and 4-H Camp Timpoochee (Niceville). All offer 2-5 days overnight and single day field trips at camp, while also offering outreach programs in their local areas.

    • 4-H Camp Timpoochee

Marine science is highlighted at 4-H Camp Timpoochee, located directly on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. Students are fully immersed into the marine world with hands-on classes centered around local ecosystems.

    • 4-H Camp Cloverleaf

South Florida ecosystems are highlighted at 4-H Camp Cloverleaf, located directly on Lake Placid. Reptiles, lake ecology, water quality, kayaking, and so many more hands-on classes are offered at this camp.

    • 4-H Camp Cherry Lake

Nestled directly on Cherry Lake, students can engage in hands-on classes at 4-H Camp Cherry Lake. Lake ecology, team building, and agriculture classes are among the current offerings for field trips at camp.
