    4-H Summer Camps

    UF IFAS Florida 4-H has three camp facilities spread throughout the state: 4-H Camp Cherry Lake (Madison), 4-H Camp Cloverleaf (Lake Placid), and 4-H Camp Timpoochee (Niceville). All are open to any youth interested in joining 4-H summer camp.

    4-H Camp Cloverleaf and 4-H Camp Timpoochee:

    • Run co-ed Overnight and Day Camps June and July, open to any youth ages 6-16 as of Sept. 1 of current school year

    • Achieved American Camp Association accreditation status by completing a peer review process of standards applicable to our program; this ensures our summer camps meet or exceed industry standards in risk, employment, facilities, and programs
    • Offer scholarships each year to any youth that qualifies; please see Camp Scholarship information below for more details
    • Mentor and train Junior Counselors (ages 14-16 as of Sept. 1 of current school year) to assist with summer camp activities during youth weeks of camp; please see Junior Counselor information below for more details

    4-H Camp Cherry Lake is currently undergoing facility renovations to provide accessible and year-round cabins. For up-to-date information on when summer camp may return, CLICK HERE
